I worked primarily in the visual arts using various different mediums from panting to sculpting working primarily in abstractions and portraits. Recently new into filmmaking Im interested in taking my viewer to an alternate reality in which each viewer will perceive the film differently. Each viewer should leave feeling more aware of their imagination and their personal reality. I plan to make films and documentaries that feel like an hour and a half drug binge where you forget exactly what happened yet remember all the details at the same time. Leaving with the sense of guilt after a drug binge, yet with the intentions to do it again despite it being “taboo”.
My goal is to create an individual wonderland which I personally have experienced and I will like to share that sense of liberation with an audience. People shouldn’t be so caught up living in an society or world that has been pre-packed and set and placed nicely in front of them, instead they should create their own. I’m a firm believer in that everyone perceives reality and the truth differently and that the world that I see is completely different form the next person.
Heavily influenced and inspired primarily by my friends in the lower east side and addictive personalities my work is to display the secret underbelly of this world that is completly unknown to the common pedestrian on Rivington Street during the daytime.
